Check out the first teaser for Renovating Swallow Cottage - a found footage feature about a family who buy a crumbling cottage in rural Tasmania and begin documenting the renovation online — but when a mysterious figure appears in their videos, their dream of a new life begins to unravel.

We have shot the film and need help finishing it so if you would like to make a tax deductible donation you can do so on the @wideangletasmania website- link in my bio.

Huge thanks to everyone who came to one of our three fundraiser screeners on Sunday at the beautiful @studioanarres, and also thanks to those who donated, purchased a vadge cupcake, or a weird art card by myself - it was so fun, a bit emotional and also raised enough money to have a good crack of the edit for our feature film Renovating Swallow Cottage.

It was also the launch of a new crowd funding platform hosted by @wideangletasmania so if you’d like to make a tax deductible donation to my Film or another Tasmanian Screen project then you can head to their website. Link in my bio. #renovatingswallowcottage #studioanarres

It’s a bloom of beautiful vulva cupcakes at our house all made by my daughter Sunny for our fundraising screenings - Monsters, Maidens & Mayhem - today showing some of my older work to raise money for the current feature film I have in post-production.

The cupcakes are a nod to a film I made 17 years ago (!) called Cupcake: A Zombie Lesbian Musical and they will be on sale today.
There are still some tickets left to the 2 pm screening at @studioanarres today. Link for tickets in my bio. #tasfilm #vulvacupcakes #vaginacupcakes

For my own creative joy and sanity I have recently been doing some drawing, doodling, moodling and have been making some art cards that can be purchased at my fundraiser screening this Sunday. The pictures have been a little inspired by some of the films we will be showing, so you will notice there are quite a few monstrous plants, eyeballs growing everywhere, strange birds, a vulva or two, or all of the above!

Tickets still left to the 2 pm screening of my Monsters, Maidens & Mayhem screening this Sunday 13th at @studioanarres so come enjoy some films and buy some Rebecca original art and helped me finish my feature film.
