Queen Ripsnort adores stories in all fashion and form, she is curious about the people around her, is irreverent, playful, eclectic and weird, & Queen Ripsnort most definitely has delusions of grandeur.

Queen Ripsnort is the film company of Tasmanian filmmaker Rebecca Thomson, whose work is as varied as her interests – from documentary web series such as the multi award winning Women Of The Island, to comedy horror shorts such as Cupcake: A Zombie Lesbian Musical + The Jelly Wrestler, to hybrid theatre project Mental The Motherload to creating music videos for Tasmanian artists such as Monique Brumby or Ange Boxall - Rebecca has an equal love of telling the stories of fascinating people in her community, as bringing to life the fantastical and grotesque monsters that emerge from the shadows of her imagination.
